Blazer Jobs is hiring an experienced Paraprofessional for a full-time position in Salem, Oregon. This role is ideal for someone committed to helping students with special education needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional support under the supervision of licensed teachers.
- Assist students in achieving their educational goals by offering personalized support.
- Help in behavior management and the delivery of instructional content.
- Work closely with teachers and school staff to implement IEPs.
Qualifications:
- Two years of study at an institution of higher education; or an Associate’s (or higher) degree; or meeting a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate through a formal state, or local academic assessment or para-educator certificate program,
- At least 1 year of experience in a special education setting dealing with behavioral issues.
