Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Registered Behavior Technicians for a full-time role with school districts in the Huntsville, AL area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing behavior support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be responsible for:

• Implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collecting data on student behavior and tracking progress toward treatment goals.
• Providing direct one-on-one support to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other behavioral needs.
• Assisting with the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Teaching social skills, coping strategies, and other functional skills.
• Monitoring and documenting student behavior and communicating progress with the BCBA and other team members.
• Creating a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
• Providing feedback to parents and teachers about student progress and challenges.

Qualifications

Required Education and Certification:

• RBT Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including background checks and other regulatory compliance.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with children or students with behavioral disorders, especially autism spectrum disorder, is preferred.
• Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to work with students who require behavioral support.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow detailed instructions from supervisors.
