Position Overview: As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the psychological and emotional well-being of students within the school district. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify and address students' needs.
• Provide counseling services to students individually or in group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement interventions and strategies to support students' social and emotional development.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate plans for students with special needs.
• Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and consultations.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Texas.
• Strong understanding of psychological principles and their application in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
