As an SLPA , you will play a crucial role in supporting speech-language therapy services for students. This full-time position offers competitive wages, comprehensive company benefits, and access to ongoing advisory and professional support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy plans under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to support their communication skills.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and other support staff to address the speech and language needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- North Carolina licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
