Responsibilities:

As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a critical role in providing individualized support to students with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing personalized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Adapting teaching methods, materials, and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Conducting assessments and monitoring student progress to make data-driven instructional decisions.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Valid Georgia teaching certification in Special Education.
• A strong commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
