Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time role with school districts in South Holland, IL. We are seeking passionate educators dedicated to helping students succeed in specialized learning environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
  • Specialize in self-contained classrooms and/or ESL/English classrooms
  • Provide instruction tailored to students' unique needs and learning styles
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including school administration and support staff, to ensure effective learning environments
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting instruction as needed

Requirements:

  • Active PEL License with LBS1 (ESL, EC, or SPED endorsement)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
  • Experience in self-contained classroom settings or working with ESL/English learners
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
