Key Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction in resource, self-contained, or inclusive classroom settings.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to implement effective interventions.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting goals and strategies as necessary.
• Support students’ social-emotional growth through appropriate behavior management techniques.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal special education laws.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid Wisconsin teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Prior experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.
• Knowledge of Wisconsin DPI regulations for special education services.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
