Speech Language Pathologist – Full-Time Position in O'Fallon, IL

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time position with school districts in the O'Fallon, IL area. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who are passionate about working with students to support their communication development and educational success.

Position Details

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive educational environment for students with speech and language challenges.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Monitor student progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and document progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech and language goals for students.
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to speech therapy services.

Requirements

To apply, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Licensure: Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents, and expertise in assessing and treating speech and language disorders.
  • Adherence to all Illinois Department of Public Health and school district requirements.
