Key Responsibilities: As an SLPA, you will provide direct therapy to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). You’ll be responsible for implementing treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist and reporting on student progress. In addition, you’ll assist in the preparation of therapy materials, collaborate with classroom teachers, and support parents in understanding their child’s progress.

Qualifications:

• MO SLPA License: Valid Missouri SLPA license.
• Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of SLPA experience in a school or similar setting.
• Skillset: You must be able to work independently while following the guidelines of your supervising SLP, manage therapy sessions efficiently, and maintain detailed records of student progress.
