Are you a dedicated and experienced Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) seeking a fulfilling opportunity? We are looking for a skilled TVI to join our team.
Position: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
Hours: Full-Time
Caseload: TK-12th
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and assessments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance students' learning experiences.
- Utilize adaptive technologies and materials to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education for the Visually Impaired or related field.
- Valid TVI certification or credential.
- Proven experience working with students who have visual impairments.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
