Job Description:

We are actively seeking a passionate and experienced School Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with K-12 students, providing a range of psychological services, including assessments, interventions, and counseling to support their academic and emotional well-being. You will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and school staff to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies for academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing mental health and emotional issues.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student goal-setting.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student development.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for students experiencing emotional distress.
  • Assist in the development of school-wide programs to promote positive mental health.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Active Illinois School Psychologist certification.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
