We are currently seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team in Yreka, CA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a K-12 caseload and provide essential psychological services in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students to determine eligibility for special education services.
- Provide counseling and mental health support to students, including individual and group sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies to address student behavioral, emotional, and academic needs.
- Support students with mental health challenges, working closely with IEP teams to develop tailored plans and goals.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) within the school environment.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid School Psychologist license in California.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
