Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time role with school districts in the San Francisco, CA area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students achieve their full potential through therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs and goals.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques and interventions to improve students' fine motor skills, self-care abilities, and sensory processing.
- Document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of classroom strategies that support occupational therapy goals.
- Conduct training and workshops for staff and parents to facilitate understanding of occupational therapy services and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of current best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
