School Occupational Therapist W2 Contract
Location: Bremerton, WA
Discipline: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Dates: ASAP – June 20, 2025
Hours: Full-time, 7.5 hours per day
Caseload/Details:
- Itinerant position, district-wide (mixed caseload).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' motor skills and their impact on the educational process.
- Provide consultative services to parents, school staff, and healthcare agencies.
- Experience in pediatrics, particularly with autism, neuromuscular disorders, and fine motor disabilities, is preferred.
Special Requirements:
- Current Washington State Occupational Therapy (OT) license required.
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address identified needs.
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students in various school settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy (OT) license.
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification.
- Experience working with school-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hourly Pay Range (W2 Contract, Bremerton, WA):
The hourly pay range for a W2 contract School Occupational Therapist in Bremerton, WA,- $60-$70 per hour
