Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students' motor development needs and develop individualized plans.
Plan and implement occupational therapy interventions to enhance students' participation in academic and non-academic activities.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' needs in the school environment.
Utilize assistive technology and adaptive equipment to enhance students' functional abilities.
Provide direct services and consultation to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of goals and objectives.
Provide training and support to school staff on strategies to support students with occupational therapy needs.
Qualifications:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
State licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist
Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding special education services
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Compassion and dedication to helping students succeed
