Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with the School District in Lincoln Park, MI, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position during the 2023-2024 school year. Position Overview: As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing occupational therapy interventions to support students' functional abilities and promote participation in the educational environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the well-being of students and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges related to motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with school staff and parents.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services and consultation to support students' success in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create inclusive and accessible learning environments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
