Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) – Napoleonville, LA

Blazer Jobs is partnering with the school district in Napoleonville, LA, to recruit a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, onsite position for the current school year. This position offers a caseload for students ages 3-22 with moderate to severe disabilities. The OT will work across nine schools in Assumption Parish, with a focus on providing both direct and indirect services to approximately 71 students (some will receive indirect services).

Position Details:

• Location: Napoleonville, LA
• Caseload: Ages 3-22, moderate to severe disabilities
• Schools: 9 schools within Assumption Parish (Sample schedule available upon request)
• Work Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
• Pay: Starting at $40/hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students with varying degrees of disabilities
• Develop individualized therapy plans and collaborate with staff on best practices
• Monitor student progress and make adjustments to therapy plans as needed
• Assist in student evaluations and assessments
• Work closely with educational staff to integrate therapy services into the students’ educational plans
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
