We are searching for a School Occupational Therapist who will work with students from grades K-12 to promote and enhance their functional independence in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and self-care skills.
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on students’ needs and educational goals.
Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school district policies and state regulations.
Full time hours (37.5/w)
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Valid IL state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
