Occupational Therapist (OT) needed for the 2023/24 School Year: Des Plaines, IL
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to provide services and support to our school district partner near Des Plaines, IL on short term contract. The occupational therapist will be responsible for providing students with treatment to help them develop and improve their ability to complete everyday tasks related to their daily life. Their duties include performing initial patient assessments, teaching patients to use adaptive technology and coaching them through therapeutic activities. This is an Onsite position.
Location: Des Plaines, IL

Start: November 16, 2023 - March 5, 2024
Responsibilities:

• Caseload: approx. 50 Students ages 6-12
• Assessing the student s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
• Helping children take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances.
• Reviewing the students progress and adapting the treatment accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Masters Level Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Must hold active IL State OT License
