Occupational Therapist (OT) Opening - Full Time School Contract

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time role with school districts in the Central Falls, RI area. We are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential and succeed in the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and track progress toward therapy goals.
• Design and implement interventions that promote the development of fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
• Provide training and support to staff on strategies to enhance student participation in classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, progress reports, and other required records.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Rhode Island.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support student success.
