Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time role with school districts in the Port Orchard, WA area. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated professionals who are eager to make a positive impact on students' lives by supporting their educational development and ensuring their access to essential resources and accommodations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess students’ needs and provide therapy to improve motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Develop and modify strategies for classroom participation and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes.
- Work closely with parents and school staff to communicate student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Washington state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
- Passion for supporting students’ development and success.
