School Occupational Therapist

Location: Hamtramck, MI

Contract duration: ASAP - June 2024

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced school occupational therapist to join a school district. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students with disabilities reach their full potential.

Contracted assignment includes:

• Competitive compensation and offered benefits
• Hourly pay and stipends
• Provide occupational therapy services to students with disabilities
• Assess students' functional skills and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the services they need
• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve students' functional skills
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments
• Document occupational therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Master's degree in occupational therapy
• Occupational therapist license in Illinois
• 2+ years of experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting
