Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based position in Maple Valley, WA. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional committed to enhancing the lives of students through specialized therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse disabilities, supporting their ability to participate fully in classroom and school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to integrate therapy goals into students' educational programs and daily routines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and evaluations.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing valuable input on student goals and therapy strategies.
• Provide training and resources to staff and parents to support the continuation of therapy techniques outside of sessions.

Qualifications:

• Must meet all local and state licensure and certification requirements for Occupational Therapy in Washington State.
• Experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in a school environment.
