Pay: $40+ per hour, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. This position will involve working with K-12 students, helping them develop the functional skills they need to succeed in their academic environment. You will play a vital role in fostering students’ physical, sensory, and cognitive development through targeted therapy and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ needs to develop customized treatment plans.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into students’ daily routines.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to student goal-setting and modifications.
• Modify and adapt the school environment to support students' success.
• Train and educate school staff on strategies to support student learning and development.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid California Occupational Therapist License.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of occupational therapy in an educational context.
