On-Site Occupational Therapist - Anoka, Minnesota

Blazer Jobs is a leading staffing agency specializing in providing highly qualified professionals to school districts. We are currently seeking experienced Occupational Therapists to join our team and support students in the Anoka, MN area during a leave coverage period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ functional abilities and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and parents.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving skills in areas such as self-care, motor coordination, and sensory integration.
• Monitor and document students’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ educational success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

• Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist license.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
