On-site School Paraprofessional - Job Opening
Blazer Jobs is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Paraprofessional to work in a high school resource room in South St. Paul, MN. This role involves providing instructional and classroom support to teachers and students with multiple needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Offer 1:1 support to students with diverse needs.
- Assist with classroom instruction and activities as directed by the teacher.
- Support students in developing academic, behavioral, and social skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Preference given to candidates who are already credentialed.
- Must meet at least one of the following:
- Two years of college credits (typically 60 credits in Minnesota) from an accredited institution.
- An associate's degree or higher.
- Passing score on an approved formal assessment demonstrating ability to assist in instruction (reading/language arts, writing, or mathematics).
