About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Onsite Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the Significant Support Needs (SSN) program to join our educational team in Eagle, CO. The successful candidate will work with high school students, providing specialized instruction and support to help each student achieve their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for high school students with significant support needs.
  • Provide direct instruction in both individual and group settings, adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of each student.
  • Address behavioral challenges with effective strategies.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure inclusive education practices.
  • Work closely with parents, administrators, and other school staff to support student success.
  • Monitor and document student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' educational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Colorado teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with high school students with significant support needs.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
