  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic progress, and socio-emotional development.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to devise personalized education plans (IEPs) and interventions for students with diverse needs.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students encountering academic and behavioral hurdles.
  • Consult with educators and parents, offering strategies to address learning and behavioral challenges effectively.
  • Play a vital role in identifying students for special education services, participating in evaluations as needed.
  • Contribute to the implementation of school-wide initiatives promoting a positive school climate and mental health awareness.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.


  • Possess a Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Hold valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in assessment tools and techniques for evaluating cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning.
  • Familiarity with special education laws, regulations, and IEP development is preferred.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration.

Additional Information:

  • Work Schedule: 37.5 hours/week

  • Caseload Assignment: Based on preference and experience
  • Hourly Rate: $47/hr - $51/hr
