Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Athens, Georgia. Our mission is to provide exceptional special education support to students in our partnered schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students' functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into the educational setting.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Provide training and resources to school staff and families to support student development.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Current Georgia state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• National certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in occupational therapy.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic practices and pediatric interventions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
