Opportunity: School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Blazer Jobs partners with schools to provide essential therapy services, ensuring students receive the specialized support they need. We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Alpharetta, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance speech and language skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Provide intervention strategies for articulation, fluency, voice, and receptive/expressive language disorders.
• Train teachers and caregivers on communication support techniques and augmentative communication devices.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Georgia state SLP license and certification.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred (CFs will be considered).
• Minimum of one year of school-based or pediatric experience required.
• Strong understanding of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and assistive technology.
