Job Title: Occupational Therapist Location: Orcutt, CA Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Orcutt, CA for the 2023-2024 school year. This position requires on-site presence and offers a full-time schedule. The start date is August 9, 2023, and the end date is June 5, 2024.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to students primarily in the Pre-K to Elementary grade levels, with a possibility of a small caseload in Junior High as well. You will have one primary worksite, but you will also visit and provide services to four other sites. The pay range for this role is: $45-55 an hr. depending on experiance.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' sensory, motor, and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific goals and needs.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic activities and interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and functional success.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
