Position Overview:

  • Location: Hamtramck, MI (North Detroit)
  • Discipline: Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Compensatory Education Hours: 29 hours to be completed across 7 students
  • Dates: Services to be completed by July 31st
  • Schedule: OT will work out the schedule with the director
  • Mode: On-Site only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to 7 students, totaling 29 hours of compensatory education.
  • Assess students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans to address their specific goals.
  • Implement therapy sessions, focusing on improving students' functional abilities and enhancing their participation in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with the director to coordinate scheduling and ensure all hours are completed by the deadline.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Occupational Therapy license.
  • Preference given to candidates who are already credentialed.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
