Paraprofessional – 1:1 Behavior Instructional Assistant
Location: Salem, OR
Full-Time, Onsite Opening for the Current School Year

Blazer Jobs is partnering with the school district to fill a full-time 1:1 Behavior Instructional Assistant position in Salem, OR. This role is available immediately and will run through June 13, 2025, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and needs.

Work Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Responsibilities include:

• Provide 1:1 support to students with behavioral and academic needs
• Implement behavioral interventions and strategies
• Assist with classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment
• Work closely with the classroom teacher and other school staff to support student development
• Assist with daily routines, including transitions, lunch, and recess
• Support students during instructional and non-instructional activities
• Assist with data collection and documentation related to behavioral goals

State Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Oregon Paraprofessional License or the ability to obtain one prior to start
• Experience working with students with behavioral challenges is preferred
