Paraprofessional Contract Position

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Paraprofessionals for a full-time role within school districts in the Flint, MI area. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting students and enhancing their educational experience in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students in both individual and group settings to facilitate their learning and development.
• Assist teachers with implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Help manage classroom behavior and contribute to creating a positive and productive learning environment.
• Support students with special needs by assisting with their daily activities and ensuring that their accommodations are met.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to address student needs and support their academic progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to educators as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some districts may require paraprofessional certification or relevant experience).
• Previous experience working with children, particularly in an educational or support role, is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting student success.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to classroom goals.
