Paraprofessional Needed in Keene, NH - Contract Role

Job Title: Full-Time Paraprofessional (Para) Position
Location: Keene, NH

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team and support the educational needs of students. Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and providing support to students in various settings.
Work with individuals or small groups of students to reinforce learning concepts.
Support students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, in accessing the curriculum.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Provide assistance with classroom management and behavior support.
Accompany students to and from classes, ensuring their safety and engagement.
Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed.
Foster a positive and supportive relationship with students to enhance their learning experience.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher is a plus.
Previous experience working in an educational setting or with children is preferred.
Ability to follow direction from teachers and work collaboratively with other staff members.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting the academic and social development of students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to participate in professional development activities.
