Job Title: Full-Time Paraeducator
Location: Houston, TX

As a Paraeducator, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in the implementation of instructional activities and lesson plans
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the teacher
Assist with classroom management and help create a positive learning environment
Support students with special needs in various academic and non-academic activities
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to address the individual needs of students
Provide assistance with classroom materials, preparation, and organization
Participate in professional development activities to enhance job-related skills
Engage in continuous learning to stay informed about best practices in education
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is preferred
Experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus
Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a team
Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
Patience, flexibility, and a passion for supporting student success
Willingness to participate in professional development and training activities
