A school district in Petoskey, MI is looking for a Paraprofessional to join their team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position offers the chance to support students in a meaningful way and be part of a collaborative educational environment.

Position Details

• Location: Petoskey, MI
• Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in classroom instruction and student engagement
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special needs
• Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior plans
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions
• Assist with classroom preparation and organization
• Foster a positive learning environment and encourage student participation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or Paraprofessional certification preferred)
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
