Location: Rush City, MN
Pay: $21+ per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (5.5 hours per day, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Caseload: Transition Program, Ages 18-22
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:

We are seeking multiple Paraprofessionals to support students in a transition program (ages 18-22) in Rush City, MN. This role involves assisting students with academic, vocational, and life skills development to help them achieve greater independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in their transition to adulthood, including job training, independent living skills, and social development
• Assist teachers and therapists in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support in classroom and community-based settings
• Help manage behaviors and encourage positive social interactions
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the educational team

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or a passing score on the Paraeducator Exam
• Experience working with transition-aged students (18-22) preferred
• Ability to provide academic and behavioral support in an educational setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
