Paraprofessional Opportunity near Grand Blanc, MI | ’23 Spring Term | Full Time
We’re quickly interviewing paraprofessionals that love to work with kids! We work with your local school district for the 2022-2023 school year near Flint, MI.  

Job specifics: 

• Approx ASAP-06/16/2023
• Flint, MI
• Paraprofessionals with at least 60 hours of semester College credits, passed the ETS Parapro Assessment, or at least Associates Degree 
  • Need copy of College Transcripts or ETS certificate PRIOR to presenting to client
• 1:1 to work with Resource, self-contained classrooms, cognitively impaired, emotionally impaired for all grade levels
• assist student during the day like a health aide professional (diapering, toiletry) for students with cognitive impairments
• some will be placed 1:1 in mild-moderate general classrooms (elementary, middle, or high school)
• full- time 37.5 hours (hours may be 7:30/8:30am-5:30pm depending on building)

Please Note: 
Paraprofessionals who work in programs supported with Title I funds must meet one of the following requirements:
• Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (equal to 60 semester hours); or
• Obtain an associate's degree (or higher); or 
• Meet a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate, through passage of an approved formal state academic ETS Parapro assessment
Requirements:

• High School or GED
• Experience with learning disabilities
• School based experience
