Paraeducator II

Location: Farmington, NH

Caseload/Details:

We are actively seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Paraeducator II to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Farmington, NH. This full-time position offers 32.5 hours per week, working closely with students who have severe/profound disabilities, including Autism and behavioral challenges.

Strict Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: Must hold an Associate's Degree or higher.
• Licensure: Must be licensed in New Hampshire as a Paraeducator II.
• Para Educator License: Must have a valid Para Educator License from the New Hampshire Department of Education. See Application Requirements Here
• Experience: Strong background in education and significant experience working with students with disabilities.
• Skillset: Well-versed in handling students with behavioral challenges and experienced in supporting non-verbal students, particularly those with severe/profound Autism. Ability to assist with toileting and other personal care needs.

Job Description:

As a Paraeducator II, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students with significant challenges. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, implementing behavior management strategies, providing one-on-one support, and helping students with personal care needs, such as toileting.
