Job Description:

We are seeking Paraprofessionals / Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) / Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our team in Canonsburg, PA for the 2024-2025 school year. In this role, you will work as a paraprofessional supporting one student in an elementary classroom, assisting with academic tasks, behavior management, and other duties assigned by the teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience working with children to make a direct impact on students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to a student in their classroom, assisting with academic tasks and behavior management.
• Support with daily classroom activities and individual student needs, including possible toileting assistance.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure students are supported in their educational goals.
• Adapt to student needs, providing guidance for mild to moderate disabilities.
• Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the teacher to promote a positive and productive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children is required.
• Open to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) willing to work as paraprofessionals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
