Paraprofessional
Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced Paraprofessional for a full-time position in a self-contained second-grade classroom. This role involves providing 1:1 behavioral support, assisting with academic and social development, and implementing behavior intervention strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 support to a student with behavioral needs
- Assist with implementing behavior intervention strategies
- Support classroom instruction and student engagement
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Maintain a structured and supportive learning environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have one of the following: an associate degree, 60 semester hours from an accredited institution, or a PEL Paraprofessional endorsement
- At least two years of experience as a paraprofessional in a self-contained classroom
- Experience working with students with behavioral needs required
