Paraprofessional
Blazer Jobs is seeking three Paraprofessionals to support 18-22-year-old students in a transition program. This role involves assisting students in developing life skills, vocational training, and academic support to promote independence.
Job Responsibilities
- Support students in transition-related activities, including life skills and vocational training
- Assist with classroom tasks, social development, and behavioral support
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to reinforce learning and daily routines
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized student plans
- Provide supervision and support in classroom and community-based settings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working with students in a special education or transition setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to support students with varying needs in an educational environment
