Position Overview: As a member of our educational team, you will have the opportunity to work directly with students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Whether providing one-on-one support, assisting in classroom management, or implementing behavioral interventions, your role is integral to helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Paraprofessionals: Support classroom teachers by working with students individually or in small groups. Assist in implementing lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and providing support to students with special needs.
- Substitute Teachers: Step in when regular classroom teachers are absent, following lesson plans, maintaining classroom order, and ensuring students stay engaged in learning.
- Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians: Work with students who have behavioral or developmental challenges, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and collaborating with teachers and therapists to foster positive behaviors and academic progress.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some positions may require a college degree or certification (e.g., RBT certification).
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- For RBTs and Behavior Technicians: Valid certification and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is required.
