Job Overview:
We are looking for two dedicated Paraprofessionals to join our team. These part-time positions involve providing Special Education (SPED) classroom support to elementary students. The role requires assisting students with their academic and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer in-class support to students with special education needs.
- Assist with academic tasks, classroom activities, and behavioral management as directed by the teacher.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Support students’ social and emotional development.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with special education students or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of students and the classroom environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent with a Parapro test score of 462 or an associate's degree.
