Role Overview: As an Occupational Therapist at Blazer Jobs, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for students by promoting independence and participation in daily activities. You will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess and address the unique needs of students, implementing evidence-based interventions to support their overall development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and home environments.
  • Provide direct intervention services and monitor progress through ongoing evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to contribute valuable insights into students' holistic development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Passion for enhancing the lives of students through therapeutic interventions.
