Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant - Morris, IL

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year in Morris, IL. This position involves providing support and assistance in delivering physical therapy services within schools, with hours varying based on the school's schedule for 4-8 hours a week, flexible.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' physical therapy needs under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Supporting the implementation of individualized treatment plans and interventions designed to enhance students' physical abilities.
• Assisting with therapy sessions and exercises aimed at improving students' mobility, strength, and motor skills.
• Collaborating closely with licensed therapists, educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans for student success.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports under the guidance of the supervising therapist.

Requirements:

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Illinois.
• Experience working with school-aged children or in a pediatric setting is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
