Part-Time School Physical Therapist (PT) Job - Extended School Year (ESY)

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Physical Therapists for a part-time contract position in Walpole, MA, specifically for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role provides an opportunity to support students in a school-based setting, helping them achieve their physical mobility and developmental goals.

Job Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all local and state licensure requirements for practicing as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts. Candidates with experience working with special education students and families are highly preferred.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

As a School-Based Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct student evaluations and assessments to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans as part of students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in alignment with their educational goals.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and special education staff to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate school staff and families on mobility techniques and accessibility accommodations for students.
