Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at an elementary school in Waltham, MA. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping young students overcome speech and language challenges, enabling them to achieve academic success and improve their communication skills. This role is 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in elementary-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Provide guidance and support to educators on strategies to facilitate speech and language development in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid Massachusetts SLP license issued by the Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of professional experience in the field.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
