Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time role with school districts in the Southbridge, MA area. We are seeking passionate educators dedicated to providing a supportive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide instruction in both one-on-one and small group settings.
- Modify and adapt general education curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and staff to ensure students' academic and social development.
- Monitor and track student progress, making adjustments to instruction as needed.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes inclusion and student growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education for Massachusetts.
- Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and create an inclusive classroom environment.
- Patience, compassion, and a commitment to student success.
